Small Groups

Small groups are gatherings of 5 to 12 people who want to experience community for a chapter of life's journey. Small groups are a great context to experience God, a family atmosphere of love, and to serve recklessly.
Small groups are about getting close enough - close enough to care, to co-operate, to help and to challenge one another in our journey.

  • Care... to listen, to encourage, to contribute.
  • Cooperate... in personal growth and the growth of others, to give and receive in all aspects of our daily lives.
  • Help... to serve, gently advise, mentor, guide.
  • Challenge... to receive and give challenge in the journey, to call        each other to a greater experience of God.

What are some of the things groups do together?

  • Pray
  • Serve others
  • Study and apply Biblical principles
  • Have fun
  • Encourage and build one another up
  • Worship
  • Support one another in practical ways

Each group works out their own schedule to fit the availability of the members, generally meeting 2 to 4 times a month, plus the occasional social and service activity.

Women's Ministries

Women's Ministries meet at regular intervals throughout the year through events like breakfasts, dinner's for eight, small groups for prayer and other special gatherings. These events are a chance for fellowship, personal growth and outreach to friends.

Men's Ministries

Men's Ministries focuses on small groups for men, retreats, breakfasts and participating in inter-church conferences and seminars. These times together encourage our men to grow strong in their walk with Christ, with one another and reach into our world.

Adult Fellowship

The Adult Fellowship is a ministry to senior adults primarily through monthly luncheons and social activities. The luncheons feature a 'carry-in' dinner and have a friendship and social focus. Periodic trips to local events and inter-church gatherings also support the ministry.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 15:5-6
